ABOUT OUR SERVICES

1

Office Conversion

All OPS and equipment are converted to our Cam-Lock system. All visible joints and connections are inspected for defects or loose fittings. Suction lines are pressure tested for any leaks.

2

Power Flush System

Our patented flushing system is connected to an installed Cam-Lock fitting. A hospital-grade Quat sanitizing solution is circulated through the entire underground or overhead suction system, flushing years of sediment from  pipes.

3

Completion

The lines are evacuated and dried. The sanitizing liquid is disposed of on-site after solids/sediment are removed for recycling via federal amal waste standards. Disposal tracking on request.

About

Invented by a dentist to solve a common problem.

Suction Solutions was developed and patented by a dentist who searched for over 18 years for someone to solve a common problem dental offices face - sediment buildup in the underground suction lines. Our patented process power cleans and removes sediment and sludge from fixed suction lines. We remove debris from suction lines that enzymes simply can't remove.

A beautiful eight-year-old dental office that uses enzymes regularly. Debris was flushed from the underground suction lines and captured by our system.

This is why we recommend our services annually. This particular office was flushed one year ago! Debris and sediment will continue to accumulate. This office is doing the right thing by flushing annually and keeping their equipment as clean and safe as possible.

"Now that I know this exists, it is negligent of me NOT to have my lines serviced"

Office Manager, Okla

Pushing to have Suction Solutions service our office was one of the best things I've pushed for as an office manager.

Dr. T.K., AR

I was shocked at the amount of gunk they removed from my lines!

Frequently Asked Questions

I have never had to have this before, why is it important to have it done now?

In 2017 EPA regulations changed, Dental offices were no longer allowed to put acidic cleaning solutions into their suction lines. This has caused an increase in the amount of sediment buildup that remains and accumulates in the vacuum lines and plumbing. The enzyme cleaners that are recommended for use in dental suction lines today only eliminate biological material. They do not eliminate other items such as prophy paste, amalgam, resin, fluoride varnish, and other dental materials. In addititon we have found that many practices are not following the proper protocol for running their vacuum lines

What exactly does the service entail?

First we will convert your suction connections to make them compatible with our system.  This conversion only needs to be done on the first visit.  Once the connections are converted, we will conduct a pressure test on your system to test the integrity of the vacuum plumbing.  After your system passes, we will flush and sanitize your system.  All of this is done via our own equipment, so your equipment will not bear the burden of the service at any time.  We will also inspect and replace suction hoses, tubing, and other vacuum equipment and parts as needed.  We will make recommendations to help you keep your system well-maintained in between our service visits.

How long does the service take?

The initial service visit typically lasts about 4-5 hours, but could take
longer in a larger practice. This is dependent upon the number of suction connections.

How often should I do this?

For most practices we recommend having your system flushed annually.

Will this service improve our suction power?

Our main goal is to remove sediment and sanitize your
suction lines. We cannot guarantee an improvement in suction power. However, many of our customers
have seen an improvement in their suction flow.

We do a daily enzyme aspiration cleaning - isn't that enough?

While flushing your lines with the
proper enzyme product according to your system manufacturer's instructions for use is essential, it cannot
remove the sediment (prophy paste, composite, amalgam, and other solids) or control the contamination
that occurs over time. Our patented system can.

What do you do with the sediment and build up that is removed from our lines?

Our sanitizing liquid
is disposed of on site after solids are filtered to 20 microns. We will recycle the filter via federal EPA
standards at no extra charge to you.

How much does the service cost?

The cost is determined by the number of suction connections in your
practice. All connections must be flushed, whether they are in use or not. A good estimate for a practice
with up to 6 connections is equivalent to what you might charge a patient for a root canal and crown.

What is the Conversion Fee?

This is a one time fee for converting your suction connections to our cam-
lock system. Future service visits (we recommend annually) will not incur this fee.

Can I get an estimate without an in-office inspection?

Yes, but please be aware that the estimate could
change based on what we see when we arrive at the office. We will let you know before we begin if there
is a change in price. Contact us today to schedule a no cost in-office inspection for the most accurate estimate.
